What is Chaos?
This program collects all kinds of cheats for all kinds of games. We try to make a full and complete collection, so that everybody can find what he or she is looking for.
There are some other, good, cheat programs, but still we wanted to make our own. Just do what it has to do and a little more. Our main goal is to have all games covered in Chaos and that's what we're going to try. But we also want all you cheaters having fun while searching for a cheat, so we added some nice features… and the program should be usable by everyone, like 10 year old gamers having trouble finishing a game, so we wanted it to be really easy to use. And, what's even better, there aren't any shareware nags, because it's freeware 😀
Chaos' database currently contains 3554 cheats for 26 platforms, including Sega 32X (29 entries), Sega Game Gear (160 entries), PC Games (1344 entries), Apple Macintosh (42 entries), Game FAQs (5 entries), Atari Jaguar (44 entries), Nintendo 64 (113 entries), Sega Genesis (190 entries), 3DO (93 entries), Neo Geo (15 entries), and many more!
And don't forget… you can't escape the need to cheat !
Why has there been such a long period without any updates?
15-Dec-2000: SORRY ! We're pretty busy at the moment… Just wanted to let you know that we're still around, and Chaos will still be developed. The next release should be coming up… Also, the
Linux version is now operational. We just need some time to beta-test, release, etc…
Thanks for your patience!
Chaos History
Chaos, until April 2000, was developed & maintained by Jonathan Gijsen, together with Marcel Kuipers & Tom Laermans. The program evolved, got bigger and bigger, we dare to say it was quite a popular program. It has been published on Netwerk-Magazine-CD's, Computer Magazine CM-ROMs, and downloaded heavily, both from BBSes and the internet.
Unfortunately, Jonathan didn't feel like continuing Chaos anymore, while it had become so famous…
Tom Laermans and Peter Barandat volunteered to take over the code & cheats, respectively. Jonathan is still on the team, he will be taking care of the fatbase.com domain! We've also got a new member, Weazel, another helping hand, he will be creating the v3 Windows viewer.

- But this might interest you, I started on a solves database, I'm not sure how it will be done, if I will distribute it with the other cheats, or
a seperate release. In any case, if you would like to help, there will be beta tests available on Deep Blue, my bbs. There will be a menu called
